The Artist Reception and GRAND OPENING for both Galleries
is Friday, October 3rd, 6-9 pm.
Twenty-four photographers have been selected to celebrate the Grand Opening of our new Gallery location within the Fremont Fine Arts Foundry. There are 29 photographs representing the human body in all it's wonderful diversity of shapes, sizes, colors and styles! Every photographic process is represented as well, including computer enhancement, solarization, Polaroid manipulations, and traditional black-and-white photograpy. Take 2 is occupying the second floor in the Foundry, sharing gallery space with and above Gallery 154. The two galleries are coordinating their artistic themes for the Grand Opening Gallery 154 is presenting a mixed media collection of nudes. A local art school will be offering a live nude figure drawing demonstration in the Foundry itself on opening night.
The Artist Reception and GRAND OPENING for both Galleries is Friday, October 3, 6-9 pm. The gallery takes part in Fremont's First Saturday Art About, Saturday, October 4, from 4-7pm. All events are open to the public. New Gallery hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 12 - 6:00, or by appointment. Call 559-2569 for further information.
